My Name is Kalie Harrod and I am a current 10th Trimester student at Palmer Davenport. My graduation date is October 19, 2018.  I was given the great opportunity to Precept in my hometown of Louisville KY. During my preceptorship, I have not only had the chance to see how a successful practice runs, but become a part of a great team that genuinely wants to help me in my Chiropractic journey. I was able to be a part of patient care, learn about insurance and billing, get experience with an EHR system, take digital x-rays, as well as learn about how to run an office. Dr. Patrick Lowe, along with his associates Dr. Bond and Dr. Cain, have shown me that being a leader means being a part of a well-oiled team. Dr. Patrick Lowe treats his staff with respect and fairness and creates a great office environment suited for learning and growth.

I had the honor to preceptor with Lowe Chiropractic & Wellness in my 10th Tri at Logan University. Going into the 10th Tri, I had no idea what I was going to do following graduation. I had not spent the time in other clinics to learn the systems and how a “real life” office operates. It was at Dr. Patrick Lowe's office that I began to build a vision for my future practice. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge simply by observing and interacting with patients. Though Kentucky has restrictions with adjusting, I was able to lend a hand with processing new patients, therapy, guiding the flow of the clinic and marketing events. These may seem like simple tasks, but it is the fundamentals of an office that will set you up for success. I really enjoyed the preceptorship all the way around. The staff and Dr.s welcomed me and never turned down a question. Great learning environment! It was actually Dr. Patrick Lowe who connected me with the office I am currently working in. They will go above and beyond to help in any way possible! I highly recommend taking advantage of this opportunity!
